Can I fly in airplane after cochlear implant surgery?
After the surgery one can fly in an airplane once the healing has taken place that is generally around 10 days to 2 weeks. One needs to carry patient identification card in an airport and should be shown to security personnel so that they don't ask you to pass through the security scanner or detector. Otherwise if there is not complication or surgical/ medical issues, one can travel by airplane.
