I am going for a cochlear implant, how painful is the after-surgery? I'm so scared.
Cochlear implant surgery is not very painful. There may be pain and discomfort in first day or two but with the pain killers prescribed after surgery that should not be problem. If the pain is increasing or has not subsided in 5-7 days then one must see the treating doctor as this may be a sign of infection.
Few days back, got ulcers on the throat due to which unable to even inhale or eat or drink anything. Come to Dr. Satinder and really it was really a safest and quickest treatment i got and started normal diet within 3 days.
