What is FESS?
It is a surgical treatment of sinusitis and nasal polyps, including bacterial, fungal and chronic sinus problems. FESS takes help of nasal endoscopes to unblock the sinus openings into the nose and restore drainage of the paranasal sinuses.
Why FESS?
To prevent the sinus pain and infection. Sinusitis occurs when, the lining of the sinuses become infected which blocks the sinus openings.
