Will the cochlea of my child grow with the age and subsequently will the child require new cochlear implant with age?
The cochlea is fully developed and the full size is already attained at birth. So there is no chance of growing it with age and therefore the change of device with the growth of child is out of question. The change of device may happen due to other reasons like failure of device after injury.
